I am Ron Remsberg, a licensed Massage Therapist and the owner of TrulySanctuary On Location Massage Therapy, serving New Smyrna Beach, FL.
My wife Bethany and I were in a collision the day we brought our newborn home from the hospital. We found ourselves rearranging our lives, missing work, facing traffic and leaving the sanctuary of our home to seek therapy for our injuries. It all seemed so counterproductive and stressful. I knew in order to effectively help people I needed to change the direction of my business.
Though most anyone would improve the quality of their life by adding regular massage to their health regime, I realize that for many these days, massage therapy has become a luxury...so it needs to be luxurious. An interesting thing happened when I started doing on location massage; I began to realize that it wasn't just the preferred style of massage or an injury that made the people I help unique. All of my regular clients see benefits from regular massage, but it really means something when I am waiting at the finish line after a client completes their first marathon. It feels good to know that my table set up poolside was the reason someone's party was the talk of the neighborhood. I love helping a hardworking professional find some relief on her lunch break right up to the day she finally takes her maternity leave. It is so wonderful to be the surprise at a holiday party and the reason why the boss is so well loved. When a mom receives a gift certificate from me, she can take a well deserved nap after her massage and not worry if the kids are behaving in the waiting room. When a client tells me massage therapy is the reward after a challenging yoga session on the beach, I realize I am helping people uniquely live their lives and there is no better feeling.
I have a dear sweet client that I see every week at the same time for 2 consecutive hours. The first hour we address all of her therapeutic and injury related massage needs. The second hour is dedicating to rest, relaxation and stress relief using only her pricey department store anti-aging cremes and serums. At first I questioned, if someone was afforded 2 hours of free time in a day why wouldn't they use their second hour to surf or hop on a motorcycle? Then I pondered why she would opt to use her own anti-aging potions when I offered perfectly wonderful all natural complimentary massage lotion? When I presented my client's wishes to my wife assuming she'd be stumped as well, my wife instantly hailed her a genius and demanded I come home next week with a list of the client's anti-aging lotions. My wife swears my hands have never looked so young and radiant as they do since I've added this client to the schedule. The point is, your unique wishes are key in bettering your life; don't let someone else determine your needs for you! Having worked alongside Chiropractors and Physical Therapists, I specialize in therapeutic injury related and sports massage...if you have a trigger point or "knot"...I'll find it! My favorite type of massage and the reason why I became a massage therapist, is luxurious rest and relaxation massage. I find that most people need both therapeutic and relaxation massage, so I taylor each session based on the client's individual needs.
My clients vary from the 22 year old college baseball player to the 77 year old retiree. I have a natural pressure gauge and can quickly access the strength and care a client needs to enjoy the most effective massage available.
I am very passionate about what I do and enjoy learning and perfecting techniques that might supplement someone in their personal health, athletic, anti-age and weight loss endeavors.
